As part of the 15th (Fanara) Anniversary celebrations, in recognition of taxpayers who have made the largest contributions to MIRA from 1 January 2011 to 30 June 2025, a special “Ran Fanara” Award was presented to 15 taxpayers. This award was given as part of a special ceremony held to mark MIRA’s 15th Anniversary, and was presented by the Chief Guest, Minister of Finance and Planning, Hon. Moosa Zameer.
The recipients of this award were: Bank of Maldives PLC, Dhiraagu PLC, I&TL Management Pvt Ltd, Ithaa Investment Pvt Ltd, Kasa Holdings Pvt Ltd, Kurendhoo Holdings Pvt Ltd, Maldives Airports Company Ltd, MTCC PLC, Gathar Airways Group, Reethi Rah Resort Pvt Ltd, State Bank of India, STO PLC, Trans Maldivian Airways Pvt Ltd, Universal Enterprises Pvt Ltd, and Villa Shipping and Trading Company Pvt Ltd.These taxpayers were recognized for making the highest tax payments to MIRA from 1 January 2011 to 30 June 2025.MIRA aims to continue presenting the Ran Fanara Award in line with established principles and procedures to recognize significant taxpayers, without compromising the confidentiality of individual taxpayer information.In addition, to mark the 15th anniversary celebrations, MIRA also presented appreciation awards to staff who have served for 10 years and 15 years respectively. Together with this, MIRA’s ‘Staff of the Year’ award was also presented.
