MIRA staff donated some important essential items to the children at ‘Fiyavathi’. According to MIRA, this donation event is part of their annual CSR conducted every year. This donation consists of essential items worth MVR 56,300/-, which was raised by MIRA staff.
A special event was conducted at Fiyavathi on the afternoon of 4th January 2023 along with different fun activities and games organized by staff of MIRA for the children at Fiyavathi. The Deputy Commissioner General of Taxation, Ms. Asma Shafeeu and many staff of MIRA participated in this event. From Fiyavathi, their CEO Zeena Gasim and several staff of Fiyavathi participated in this event.
While speaking at the event, the Deputy Commissioner General of Taxation emphasized on the importance given by MIRA staff to such activities. Additionally, she noted that such activities are funded personally by the staff of MIRA. She also noted the importance of the work carried out by the staff at Fiyavathi and thanked them for their hard work.
The CEO of Fiyavathi, Ms. Zeena Gasim thanked MIRA staff for their continuous donations over the years, in her speech. Additionally, the children of Fiyavathi presented a handmade token of appreciation to MIRA staff.
MIRA is an organization that takes initiative in carrying out such CSR activities every year. Apart from this, MIRA also participates in various such activities carried out by other organizations as well.
